I like being upfront about things, so I thought I’d let you in on some things.
First, this is a for-profit adventure. This is a “side hustle” of mine. As of this writing, this is definitely providing very little money to our daily lives. However, in time I hope to improve that.
That said, I will aim to ensure that you are made aware of any editorial conflicts of interest. My goal is to ensure that the paid-for content, whether it’s an advertising graphic or a sponsored post, is clearly distinguished from the regular editorial content I produce.
Also, while I will aim for objectivity in all of my writing, it is impossible for me to completely segregate the editorial staff from the advertising staff: I wear both hats.
